Why we run Pebbles

Brighton Pebbles is a local charity run by parent carers and we welcome children with any disability. However, we especially want to include children who find it difficult to access mainstream activities, for instance those with severe learning disabilities, severe autism and challenging behaviour.
We know how difficult and lonely it can be to be excluded from the sort of everyday activities that most families take for granted. We mainly support children who are school age and upward, though siblings of any age are welcome to attend too.
Pebbles aims to offer a place for parents to feel supported and understood and a place for all of our children to play and have fun.
